sPOTS ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

Health Data: Heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), and physical orientation data collected passively through Apple HealthKit integration with your explicit consent.
User-Entered Data: Symptom logs, sodium intake, hydration levels, medication tracking, and any notes you choose to record.
Device Information: Basic device identifiers necessary for app functionality, stored locally on your device.
3. On-Device Processing
sPOTS is designed with privacy-first architecture. All health data processing, including CoreML pattern recognition, occurs entirely on your device. Your sensitive health information never leaves your iPhone unless you explicitly choose to export a clinical report.
4. Data Storage
All personal health data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. We do not maintain servers that store your health information. If you enable iCloud backup for your device, your sPOTS data may be included in your encrypted backup.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal health information to third parties.
You may choose to share your data by:
- Exporting clinical reports to share with your healthcare providers
- Participating in optional, anonymized research studies (with separate consent)
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data stored within the app
- Export your data at any time
- Delete all app data by uninstalling the application
- Revoke HealthKit permissions through iOS Settings
7. Children's Privacy
sPOTS is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, through an in-app notification.
